el disenador nicolas ghesquière presenta para balenciaga fw12 una propuesta con nuevas siluetas con mucho volumen y juego de proporciones, todo envuelto en forma tecnologica. uso diferentes texturas como latex, acolchado, gasa con latex, jersey metalizado y charol. sin duda una de las colecciones que mas llamo la atencion en esta temporada.


the designer nicolas ghesquière  presented for balenciaga fw12 a proposal with new silhouettes with lots of volume and set of proportions, all wrapped in technological form. use different textures like latex, quilting, latex gauze, jersey Metallic and patent leather. undoubtedly one of the collections most attention this season.

increíbles y psicodélicos prints mezclados con formas tridimensionales y unicas es lo que nos propone mary katrantzou fw12, disenadora griega que presenta en el london fashion week. parte de su proceso de inspiracion fue hacer una investigacion historica y tiene como base en algunas prendas a la inglaterra isabelina. flores, maquinas de escribir, cucharas, unicornios, relojes entre mas elementos fueron parte de la creación de los prints. una explosión de formas y color conceptualizado en una bella propuesta.

amazing and psychedelic prints mixed with three dimensional and unique shapes is what is proposed by mary katrantzou fw12, the greek designer that shows in london fashion week. part of the process of inspiration was a historical research based on some clothes of elizabethan england era. flowers, typewriters, spoons, unicorns, watches and more elements were part of the creation of the prints. an explosion of shapes and colors conceptualized in a beautiful proposal.

marc jacobs juega siempre con influencias opuestas, esta vez mezcló para su inspiración algo del plymouth rock del siglo diecisiete con un poco de street style del siglo veintiuno. estolas de lana, tops de brillos, mucho volumen, contrastes de colores y texturas y sobre todo sombreros oversize de piel fueron algunos de las bases de marc jacobs fw12. algunos los looks fueron inspirados por anna piaggi y lynn yaeger.

marc jacobs always plays with opposing influences, this time his inspiration mixed some from the plymouth rock's seventeenth century with a bit of twenty-first century's street style . wool stoles, sparkling tops, volume, contrasting colors and textures and especially fur oversize  hats were some of the bases of marc jacobs fw12. some looks were inspired by anna piaggi and lynn yaeger.

jeffrey costello y robert tagliapietra presentarón una bella colección para costello tagliapietra fw12. pude verla en milk studios en new york y los prints, drapeados con mucha fluidez, volumenes interesantes y un look sofisticado fueron algunos puntos básicos para esta temporada. tuvieron una inspiración abstracta, partiendo con los prints pintados y la parte espectral de "beetlejuice".

jeffrey costello and robert tagliapietra showed a beautiful collection for costello tagliapietra fw12. i saw the fashion show in milk studios in new york and prints, draped fluently, interesting volumes and a sophisticated look were some points for this season. they had an abstract inspiration, starting with painted prints and the spectral side of"beetlejuice".

stella mccartney fw12 presentó en paris una colección donde el color predominante fue el azul. su inspiración fue el balance entre el dia y la noche, la ciudad y el campo. mostró una mujer con equilibrio y piezas ergonómicas fáciles de llevar, con un toque deportivo pero a su vez sexy. predominaron las formas gráficas y bordados botánicos en azul, negro y blanco. es una de mis disenadoras favoritas y siempre me parece super refrescante ver su propuesta.

stella mccartney fw12 showed in paris a collection where the predominant color was blue. her inspiration was the balance between day and night, the city and countryside. she presented a woman with balance and ergonomic pieces easy to wear, with a sporty but sexy turn. predominance of graphic forms and botanical embroidered in blue, black and white. is one of my favorite designers and it's super refreshing to see her proposal.

asistir al desfile de michael bastian fw12 fue realmente genial, fue uno de los desfiles que más me gusto ver en new york. la colección se llamo: the extra man y mezclo el clásico sastre europeo con elementos americanos de las últimas decadas (como el look del sweater amarillo inspirado en charlie brown). una especie de dandy libre, despreocupado, arriesgado en mezclar texturas en un mismo look y muy actual, dandole un aire de "bon vivant" (una persona que disfruta las buenas cosas de la vida)

attend the michael bastian fw12 fashion show was really great, it was one of the shows that i most liked to see in new york. the collection called: the extra man and he mixed the european classic tailor with american elements of recent decades (like the look of the yellow sweater inspired by charlie brown). a kind of dandy free, carefree, daring to mix textures in the same look and very modern, giving an air of "bon vivant" (a person who enjoys the good things of life)
