file 052. the best of new york fashion week. carolina herrera ss2012
cerrando the best of new york fashion week deje al último el look de carolina herrera ss2012, que justo coincide con la llegada de la disenadora a lima para la inauguración de su tienda. la colección me parecio super fresca, elegante y geométrica. tuvo amarillo, verde, prints (en especial el de la ilustración, que tiene como protagonista pequenos gorriones, cuando lo vi en el desfile sabia que lo queria ilustrar y fue definitivamente uno de mis favoritos). su inpiración fue el movimiento artístico alemán bauhaus, la fluidez y purezas de sus líneas.
finishing the best of new york fashion week i have the look from carolina herrera ss2012, which just coincides with the arrival of the designer to lima for the opening of her new store. the collection seemed to me super fresh, elegant and geometric. had yellow, green, prints (especially in this illustration, which features little sparrows, when i saw the fashion show i knew i wanted to illustrate this one and was definitely one of my favorites ). her inpiración was the german art movement bauhaus , the flow and purity of their lines.

file 047. the best of new york fashion week. oscar de la renta ss2012
oscar de la renta ss2012 dio un giro a su propuesta de colecciones anteriores. con un aire mucho más fresco y lleno de energía. blancos y prints primaverales son parte de esta propuesta. el pelo rizado y el make up super limpio completan el look.
oscar de la renta ss2012 gave a twist for the proposal from previous collections. cool, fresh and full of energy. white and spring prints are part of this proposal. curly hair and super clean make up complete the look.

file 043. the best of new york fashion week. proenza schouler ss2012
proenza schouler ss2012 es una de mis colecciones favoritas. el uso del color y las texturas en toda la colección me parece simplemente genial. exploraron un lado artesanal incorporando tejidos en rafia y la piel de anguila. jack mccollough y lázaro hernández se inspirarón en la arquitectura googie (40s-60s), donde predominaban las formas geométricas y el uso del cristal.
proenza schouler ss2012 is one of my favorite collections. the use of color and texture throughout the collection seems just great. explored incorporating a traditional hand woven raffia and eel skin. jack mccollough and lazaro hernandez were inspired by googie architecture (40s-60s), dominated by geometric shapes and the use of crystal.

file 041. the best of new york fashion week. rag & bone ss2012
los disenadores marcus wainwright and david neville crearon un rico juego de texturas y usaron diferentes materiales en su colección de rag & bone ss2012. como inspiración hicieron un mix de los surfistas en los setentas, el festival glastonbury y los raves en los noventas usando acentos neon e interesantes prints.
the designers marcus wainwright and david neville created a rich play of textures and used different materials in their collection rag & bone ss2012 . as inspiration they did a mix of surfers in the seventies, the glastonbury festival and nineties's raves using neon accents and interesting prints.
