la diseñadora sarah burton presentó para alexander mcqueen ss14 una mujer guerrera, una mujer que podria situarse entre las llanuras africanas o la selva amazónica, llena de detalles tribales y magia, cascos de oro, arneses, plumas tipo avestruz, faldas sobre pantalones, prints geométricos inspirados en mondrian. su primer punto de inspiración fue la revista national geographic.

una colección rica en detalles, diferentes técnicas de diseño , un trabajo manual muy artístico y la presencia de rojo, negro y dorado nos envolvierón en esta gran propuesta para esta temporada.

the designer sarah Burton for alexander mcqueen ss14 show us a warrior woman, a woman who could be in  the african plains or the amazon jungle, full of tribal details and magic, golden helmets, harnesses, ostrich feather type, skirts over pants, geometric prints inspired by mondrian. her first point of inspiration was the magazine national geographic.

a collection rich in detail, different design techniques, artistic handmade work and the presence of red, black and gold wrapped us in this great proposal for this season.

sarah burton propone para alexander mcqueen fw12 una vision de un hermoso futuro, basandose en una suave cama del bosque tanto de dia como de noche. texturas onduladas de mushrooms que dan formas increibles, marcando una silueta "x", donde lo principal es acenturar la cintura. poder y proteccion, hiper femeneidad y mucha fuerza. plumas, pieles, detalles de metal y viseras futuristas redondean el concepto.

sarah burton proposed for alexander mcqueen fw12 a vision of a beautiful future, based on a soft bed of the forest by day and night. rolling textures of mushrooms that give incredible ways, making a silhouette "x", where the main thing is accentuate the waist. power and protection, hyper femininity and great force. feathers, fur, metal details and futuristic visors rounded  concept.

cerrando the best of paris fashion week deje a alexander mcqueen ss2012. una colección super interesante en texturas y looks. la disenadora sarah burton define a la mujer mcqueen para esta temporada como un objeto del deseo, una colección acerca de los excesos. su inspiración se basa en 3 palabras que empiezan con g: gaudi (por su arquitectura), grés (por el plisado y drapeado) y gaia (por la vida oceánica, trajes de conchas y corales). mucho detalles, cinturas marcadas, volantes que hacen referencias a las olas del mar, mascaras de encaje, looks fuertes pero a su vez delicados, una exquisita mezcla.

closing the best of paris fashion week i have alexander mcqueen ss2012. a very interesting collection about textures and looks. the designer sarah burton defines the mcqueen women for this season as an object of desire, a collection about excess. her inspiration is based on 3 words that start with g: gaudi (cause the architecture), grés (for the pleating and draping) and Ggia (for ocean life, coral and shell suits). alot of details, marked waists, ruffles that make references to the waves, lace masks, looks strong but delicate turn, an exquisite blend.

bonus file. de boca en boca magazine. middle age

hace unas semanas tuve el grato placer de conocer a parte del equipo de la revista "de boca en boca" y como resultado de esa reunión les muestro mi primera colaboración con esta genial revista. el tema que debía ilustrar fue la edad media para la sección "en boca de la modista" realizada por la reconocida disenadora sitka semsch, el personaje elegido para ilustrar fue carlomagno pero le quise dar un toque divertido y moderno con looks de alexander mcqueen fw2010. pueden buscarlos en facebook como: de boca en boca.

a few weeks ago i had the great pleasure of meeting part of the team of the "de boca en boca"  magazine, and as result i want to show you my first collaboration with this great magazine. i've should illustrate the middle age for the section "en boca de la modista"  written by the renowned designer sitka semsch, the character choosen to illustrate was charlemagne but i wanted to give it a fun and modern touch with alexander mcqueen fw2010 collection. take a look at it in facebook as: de boca en boca

file 010. the beginning

para mi estas ilustraciones marcaron el comienzo de esta nueva etapa. hace unos meses mi amigo y dupla antonio choy kay me preguntó si queria ilustrar las colecciones fall winter para su blog y me pareció interesante la idea sin saber lo mucho que me iba a gustar. ahora me parece un reto el escoger un look y llevarlo a la ilustración y me apasiona el poder hacerlo.

for me these illustrations marked the beginning of this new phase. a few months ago my friend and partner antonio  choy kay  asked if i wanted to illustrate the fall winter collections for his blog and i found interesting the idea without knowing how much i would like it. now i find it challenging to choose a look and take it to the picture and i love it.
