por estos días estoy en nyc esperando que empiece el mercedes benz fashion week fw12 y queria aprovechar en terminar y postear algunas ilustraciones que por falta de tiempo no pude terminarlas en su momento. son las colecciones de resort 2012 y seran 4 entregas de 3 disenadores. esta primera entrega agrupa a prabal gurung, louis vuitton y stella mccartney resort 2012. tres propuestas que me encantaron apenas vi las colecciones. gracias a antonio choy kay por la edición de los desfiles.

in these days i'm in nyc waiting for the mercedes benz fashion week fw12 begin and wanted to finish and post some illustrations that lack of time i could not finish in time. they are the resort collections 2012 and will be 4 deliveries of 3 designers. this first grouping prabal gurung, louis vuitton and stella mccartney resort 2012. three proposals that i loved just saw the collections. thanks to antonio choy kay by editing the shows.

bonus file. de boca en boca magazine. twentieth century

para la última edición del 2011 para la revista de boca en boca (edicion 16) el tema fue los años 20. esta vez no hubo un personaje por ilustrar si no los looks de esa epoca, la cual se caracteriza por una serie de cambios como por ejemplo el uso de la falda a la altura de las rodillas, telas mas fluidas y la aparición del cuello V. con este post aprovecho para agradecer al gran equipo de de boca en boca que confio en mi para esta increíble sección.

for the last edition of 2011 for the magazine de boca en boca (edition 16) the theme was the 20s. this time there wasn't a character to illustrate, it was looks from this century, which is characterized by a series of changes such as the use of the skirt to the knees, more fluid fabrics and the appearance of the v neck. with this post i wanna thanks the great team of de boca en boca for trust me for this incredible section.

bonus file. introducing the files

la primera vez que imprimi una de mis ilustraciones tuve una rara sensación, es muy diferente verla digitalmente y luego verla impresa. fue como ver el proyecto que llevo haciendo hace meses de una forma más tangible y eso me gusto mucho. ver las formas, los colores y los personajes que ilustro cobrando un poco de vida. por eso, decidí crearle un nombre a estas ilustraciones impresas y que mejor que "the files".

este miércoles 18 de enero estaré presentando the files en la tienda cool mess (conquistadores 785, 3er piso. san isidro, lima), son 24 ilustraciones de edicion limitada para venta en 3 formatos diferentes, impresas en papel 100% algodón.

the first time i printed one of my illustrations i had a strange feeling, it's very different view digitally and then see it in print. it was like to see the project i've been doing for months in a more tangible way and i like it very much. see the shapes, colors and characters illustrated charging a little life. so i decided to create a name to this artwork printed and and nothing better than "the files".

this wednesday 18th, january i will be introducing the files in the store cool mess (conquistadores 785, 3rd floor. san isidro, lima), there are 24 limited edition illustrations for sale in three different formats, printed on 100% cotton.
