sarah burton proposed for alexander mcqueen fw12 a vision of a beautiful future, based on a soft bed of the forest by day and night. rolling textures of mushrooms that give incredible ways, making a silhouette "x", where the main thing is accentuate the waist. power and protection, hyper femininity and great force. feathers, fur, metal details and futuristic visors rounded  concept.

el disenador nicolas ghesquière presenta para balenciaga fw12 una propuesta con nuevas siluetas con mucho volumen y juego de proporciones, todo envuelto en forma tecnologica. uso diferentes texturas como latex, acolchado, gasa con latex, jersey metalizado y charol. sin duda una de las colecciones que mas llamo la atencion en esta temporada.


the designer nicolas ghesquière  presented for balenciaga fw12 a proposal with new silhouettes with lots of volume and set of proportions, all wrapped in technological form. use different textures like latex, quilting, latex gauze, jersey Metallic and patent leather. undoubtedly one of the collections most attention this season.

stella mccartney fw12 presentó en paris una colección donde el color predominante fue el azul. su inspiración fue el balance entre el dia y la noche, la ciudad y el campo. mostró una mujer con equilibrio y piezas ergonómicas fáciles de llevar, con un toque deportivo pero a su vez sexy. predominaron las formas gráficas y bordados botánicos en azul, negro y blanco. es una de mis disenadoras favoritas y siempre me parece super refrescante ver su propuesta.

stella mccartney fw12 showed in paris a collection where the predominant color was blue. her inspiration was the balance between day and night, the city and countryside. she presented a woman with balance and ergonomic pieces easy to wear, with a sporty but sexy turn. predominance of graphic forms and botanical embroidered in blue, black and white. is one of my favorite designers and it's super refreshing to see her proposal.

la disenadora rei kawakubo propone para comme des garcons fw12 una silueta bold y minimalista. una especie de piezas de dibujo de gran tamano recortadas y puestas de forma bidimensional. su paleta mezcla colores como el frambuesa, rojo, celeste y amarillo. la equacion para su inspiración fueron dos frases: "el futuro en dos dimensiones" y "hacer algo nuevo" mezclando color y forma.

comme des carcons fw12 's designer rei kawakubo proposed a bold and minimalist silhouette. a kind of pattern pieces cut large size and made of two-dimensional form. mixing colors like raspberry, red, blue and yellow. the equation for inspiration were two phrases: "the future in two dimensions" and "make it new" mixing color and shape.

cerrando the best of paris fashion week deje a alexander mcqueen ss2012. una colección super interesante en texturas y looks. la disenadora sarah burton define a la mujer mcqueen para esta temporada como un objeto del deseo, una colección acerca de los excesos. su inspiración se basa en 3 palabras que empiezan con g: gaudi (por su arquitectura), grés (por el plisado y drapeado) y gaia (por la vida oceánica, trajes de conchas y corales). mucho detalles, cinturas marcadas, volantes que hacen referencias a las olas del mar, mascaras de encaje, looks fuertes pero a su vez delicados, una exquisita mezcla.

closing the best of paris fashion week i have alexander mcqueen ss2012. a very interesting collection about textures and looks. the designer sarah burton defines the mcqueen women for this season as an object of desire, a collection about excess. her inspiration is based on 3 words that start with g: gaudi (cause the architecture), grés (for the pleating and draping) and Ggia (for ocean life, coral and shell suits). alot of details, marked waists, ruffles that make references to the waves, lace masks, looks strong but delicate turn, an exquisite blend.

haider ackermann ss2012 tiene como inspiración al poeta británico lord byron. lineas varoniles, sedas brillantes, amarres, siluetas desgarbadas y oxfords. el disenador describe su colección diciendo "ella ha robado las prendas de su amante" un enfoque super femenino, poetico y elegante.

haider ackermann ss2012 has his inspiration in the british poet lord byron. manly lines, bright silks, moorings, ungainly silhouettes and oxfords. the designer describes his collection saying "she has stolen the clothes of his lover" super feminine, poetic and elegant approach.

miu miu ss2012 nos presento un juego de encajes, patchwork, faldas y tops sujetados cubiertos con capas atadas con cintas de terciopelo. una mezcla entre la inocencia de la caperucita roja y personajes vampirescos, aunque su real inspiración fueron las grandes mujeres de la historia, algunas reinas y varias mujeres femme fatale, pero reales no actrices ni personajes. 

miu miu ss2012 present us a set of lace, patchwork skirts and tops covered with layers subjected tied with velvet ribbons. a cross between the innocence of little red riding hood and vampire characters, but the real inspitation were the great women of history, a few queens and several femme fatale women, real women not movie stars.

nicolas ghesquiere disena para balenciaga ss2012 una colección que da una mirada al pasado pensando en una esencia futurista. amplios hombros, pantalones, mini shorts de talle alto, estampados artísticos, metálicos y sombreros grandes fueron parte de la propuesta. una coleccion gráfica, eclesiástica y que según sus palabras su inspiración fue una especie de laberinto donde las texturas y formas se entrelazaban, quizo darle un toque cálido a la geometría.

nicolas ghesquiere designed  for balenciaga ss2012 a collection that looks at the past thinking in a futuristic essence. broad shoulders, pants, high waisted mini shorts, art prints, metallics and big hats were part of the proposal. a graphic collection, ecclesiastical and his inspiration was a labyrinth where the textures and shapes are intertwined, wanted to give a warm touch to the geometry.

balmain ss2012 tiene como inspiración dos fuentes importantes: la mezcla de los sastres de mexico con el glamour de las vegas. mucho dorado, bordados y formas geométricas son claves para esta propuesta de olivier rousteing, el nuevo disenador de balmain.

balmain ss2012 is inspired in two important sources: the mixture of mexico tailors with the glamor of las vegas. alot of gold, embroidery and geometric shapes are key to the proposal of olivier rousteing, the new designer of balmain.

ricardo tisci para givenchy ss2012 toma como inspiración a surfistas y sirenas, sin ser literal nos brinda una propuesta super limpia y lineal alejada de todos los prints de las demas colecciones y nos muestra una mujer sexy, muchas transparencias y lineas que simulan las olas. el make up tiene una lentejuela partida debajo del ojo dandole un punto de vista super especial.

ricardo tisci for givenchy ss2012 takes as inspiration from surfers and sirens, without being literal he gives us a super clean proposal and away from all other collections of prints and shows a sexy woman, many transparencies and lines that simulate waves. the make up have a half sequin below the eye giving a special approach.

es el turno del resumen de parís y empezare con una de mis disenadoras y colecciones favoritas. stella mccartney ss2012 se inspira según sus propias palabras en una celebración de energía, frescura y actitud. líneas limpias, figuras cenidas al cuerpo en contraparte de siluetas holgadas y un mix de polka dots y formas paisley fueron parte de su propuesta para esta temporada. su idea fue jugar con escalas y también con un poco de color.

is the turn of paris's resume and i'll start with one of my favorite designers and collections. stella mccartney ss2012 inspired in his own words in a celebration of energy, freshness and attitude. clean lines, tight to the body figures  in counterpart  loose silhouettes and a mix of polka dots and paisley shapes were part of her proposal for this season. her idea was to play with scale and with a little color.

líneas simples, puras y suaves sirven de base para la inspiración del disenador croata damir doma para su colección. detalles de arneses, hebillas y correas le dan un toque de actitud a damir doma ss2012, sin perder su esencia relax. la paleta de color fue neutra predominando el negro.

simple, soft and pure lines were the inspiration for the croatian designer damir doma for his collection. details of harnesses, buckles and straps add a touch of attitude to damir doma ss2012, without losing his relax essence. the colour palette was neutral predominantly black.

issey miyake, viktor & rolf y dior homme ss2012 usan el color azul como parte importante de su paleta para esta temporada. diferentes tonalidades en un mismo look y lo completan con sandalias (con y sin medias) o botines al tobillo.

issey miyake, viktor & rolf and dior homme ss2012 used the color blue as an important part of their palette for this season. different ranges in a same look and complete them with sandals (with and without stockings) or ankle boots.

algunas tendencias regresan cada cierto tiempo, pero siempre renovadas, es el caso de lo militar. en las colecciones de paris se vio de una manera mas osada. lanvin, mugler y comme des garcons ss2012 lo demuestran con estos tres looks.

some trends return from time to time, but always renewed, is the case with the military. in the paris's collections was in a way more daring. lanvin, mugler and comme des garçons ss2012 demonstrated with these three looks.

one of the strongest trends of the season is sportswear. garments that are inspired by clothes for sports and gym, but with a casual chic vision. jean paul gaultier, balenciaga and alexis mabille ss2012 show us some looks with that inspiration.
